JAMMU, July 22: Today, the students and faculty of PM SHRI KV No.1 Jammu experienced a refreshing and enlightening Yoga session organized by the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO). The event, held in the school's auditorium, was marked by the enthusiastic participation of more than 250 students.
The session began with a warm welcome from Ms. Sandhya Sharma, the venue teacher, who set a positive tone for the day and extended a special welcome to the esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest for the day, the Regional Chief, and the Guest of Honour, Amit Walter, Venue Principal. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. This was followed by a green welcome of the dignitaries. The highlight of the event was the yoga session conducted by Dr. Latika, a renowned yoga instructor. Dr. Latika guided the students and faculty through various yoga postures and breathing exercises, promoting relaxation and mindfulness. The session was both invigorating and calming, leaving the participants feeling rejuvenated.
The event concluded with heartfelt thanks extended to the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, the Principal, and all the teachers for their support and presence. The students were also commended for their enthusiastic participation, and everyone was encouraged to carry the calm and positive energy from the session into their daily lives.
The Yoga session organized by HUDCO was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impact on all participants. PM SHRI KV No.1 looks forward to more such enriching events in the future.
