KULGAM, July 22: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today convened a meeting to review the ongoing Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) works in the district. During the meeting, the Chief Manager of Power Grid briefed the chair on the status of projects. The DC instructed concerned departments and other stakeholders to cooperate with the executing agency to ensure timely completion and implementation of the scheme. During the meeting it was informed that with a project cost of Rs 126.9 crore, the RDSS scheme aims to install 900 new distribution transformers and 500 km of LT ABC, aiming to reduce AT&C losses in District Kulgam. The meeting was attended by ADDC, Bashir Ahmad Wani; JDP, Zahid Sajjad; ACR, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Tehsildars, Ex. Engineer KPDCL, Senior General Manager of Power Grid as well as representatives from R&B, NHAI, PMGSY, I&FC and others concerned. |
