Early Times Report JAMMU, July 22: SKPA has commenced a 5-day training course focused on new criminal laws, for master trainers from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Jammu & Kashmir. A total of 12 participants, including 3 Chief Prosecuting Officers, 3 Senior Prosecuting Officers, 1 Deputy Superintendent of Police, 3 Inspectors, and 2 Sg Cts, are being trained in this program, which is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the latest changes and updates in criminal law. The primary goal of this course is to equip ACB personnel with the necessary knowledge and skills to tackle contemporary challenges in their field. The training includes interactive discussions to compare the old and new laws, enhancing comprehension and practical application. This initiative highlights the Police Department's commitment to offering relevant and up-to-date training, ensuring that ACB personnel remain at the forefront. An inaugural function was held at SKPA, with Rajinder Kumar Gupta, IPS, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor), serving as the chief guest. In his welcome address, Gupta warmly greeted all participants and emphasized the importance of being well-prepared to face contemporary challenges. He also underscored the significance of understanding the differences between the old and new laws. Additionally, Gupta delivered a detailed lecture on the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, offering a comparative analysis and discussing the philosophy behind the changes. This initiative reaffirms SKPA's dedication to providing comprehensive and relevant training. The course is being coordinated by Amit Parkash Sehgal, Senior Police Officer at SKPA, with assistance from Sub-Inspector Subash Chander. |
