Medical Camp at Gwari, Bhaderwah, Doda | | | Early Times Report
Doda, July 23: As part of ongoing outreach in helping local populace, a Medical Camp has been conducted at Gwari, Bhaderwah by Indian Army. A medical team comprising of a Medical Officer, Three Nursing Assistants and one Battle Field Nursing Assistant from Army and one medical officer (Lady) and one Nursing Assistant from Government Hospital for providing the much needed medical cover to the gents, ladies, children and elderly people during the camp. A large number of patients turned up for the medical check-up from the nearby villages. This medical camp was organised by making necessary arrangements including various types of medicines, medical equipment and facilities for examination of patients. Wide publicity was given to ensure that maximum people avail this opportunity to attend the camp. A total of 255 patients were treated in the medical camp which included 117 ladies, 95 gents and 43 children including Gujjar & Bakarwal community. The Awam expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for concentrated efforts and assistance in providing medical aid at their door step. Indian Army also gave information about Health, Nutrition and Child Care to the parents in order to spread medical awareness amongst the general populace. |
