Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 23: The District Administration of Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, virtually participated in the launch of the JK Samadhan Portal initiative today.
This significant good governance project was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha.
The event was attended by Chairperson of the District Development Council, Dr. Shamshad Shan, along with DDC members and prominent citizens, who joined to witness the unveiling of this transformative platform.
During the event, participants were sensitized about the importance and functionality of the JK Samadhan portal, which aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of grievance redressal mechanisms. A comprehensive user manual for the app was provided, ensuring that users can easily navigate and utilize its features.
The JK Samadhan platform represents a substantial advancement over the previous systems, JKIGRAMS and CPGRAMS. It is equipped with a multilingual AI-based interface designed to automatically forward grievances to the relevant departments. Key features include real-time updates on the status of grievances, prompt acknowledgements to users, and a multilingual voice response system. The platform also offers advanced capabilities such as grievance prioritization, various types of dashboards for monitoring, and comprehensive reporting tools to ensure transparency and accountability.
Later, the Chairperson extended her gratuities to the Government for launching the JK Samadhan initiative, a crucial step towards improving governance and ensuring that citizens' concerns are addressed efficiently. The platform's advanced technology and user-centric design will significantly reduce the time taken to resolve grievances and improve overall satisfaction among the residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
The virtual launch event was attended by a wide range of senior officers including Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, S. Harpal Singh, CPO, Sakeeb Ahmed, GM DIC, Ravindra Anand, ACD Shrinath Summan, ACP, Ashfaq Kanji, CMO, and other senior officers.
