BLSKS presents Nukad Natak “Nashe Cha Bachao”

JAMMU, July 24: To cont. the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, in coordination with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt. J&K Govt. and Sangam Tru Art Production presented its 444th Regular Series Dogri Musical Play "NASHE CHA BACHO " at Rehersal Hall, Durga Bhawan , Janipur Jammu on today under the overall Direction of Dr.M.L.Dogra. A pledge was also taken by more than 100 peoples which was recited by Miss Chahat Chadha. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs.Anju Dogra , Health Department Jammu. Among the Guest of Honors present were Vansh Raina , Megha Raina, Ram Ji, Sidharth Manhas, Mukesh Singh Prominent Persons of the Area. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region. The Specially items prepared on the theme " Chuti Badi Karab ", " Koi ache Ram koi alha", "Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio", "Swatch Bharat Ho ", "Mere hikdu Gadbad", "Savdhan Savdhan ae Bhaart vasi Savdhan", Kashmiri Song , Nukkad, Skits , Songs were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest said the risk of Addictions lurks for everyone. Adolescents and young adults are more likely to getting addicted to substances Type of Drug used drugs like cocaine and heroine have severely painful withdrawal symptoms and so are much more addictive than alcohol Method of use Drugs that are smoked or injected into your body tend to be more addictive as they directly go to the bloodstream and brain than those that you swallow where passing through liver can lead to some filtration Mental Illness. A person who is mentally ill is more prone to addictions and a person who is addicted are more likely to develop a mental illness or experience worsening of already existing symptoms. The efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective. The artists of BLSks presented theme based songs which were written by Dr.M.L.Dogra . The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples.
Welcome speech was given by Dr.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said drugs withdrawal symptoms are a combination of physical and mental side effects a person experiences while trying to either stop or reduce the use of the substance they have been using or are addicted to. These are usually unpleasant experiences which make it difficult to reduce or quit the substance. Some of the common withdrawal symptoms are nausea, vomiting, restlessness, tremors, disturbance in mood (irritability, depression, anxiety), lack of sleep, body pains, craving for the substance, running nose etc. Awareness regarding right of vote was also discussed through group discussion. A lot of people want to vote, but many are not aware of its need and how to cast it. This is where voting awareness comes into play. The idea of voting awareness is to help people understand the importance of voting. Voting is an important way for voters to control their government. It is a method for citizens to express what they want from their leaders by raising awareness about voting. This will lead to better governance and what everyone wants - a democracy that is free, fair and representative. Voting helps citizens become more involved in their government and keep it accountable. To vote, you must meet specific requirements. In addition to voting, there are a few laws that ensure fair elections around the world.
Usha Raina , Troupe In charge BLSKS said our volunteers and outreach workers of these organizations have gone from door to door, and nearby localities of Jammu city to educate the people about the ill effects of drug abuse and have assisted the rehabilitation of victims of substance abuse. The singers, musician and actors who performed were K K Joshi, M C Kotwal, Chahat Chadha, Zulekha Bano, Rajni Gupta, Naiya Digra, Renu Bala, Ruder Partap Sharma, Taniya Gupta. Deepak Kumar Dogra, Programe Incharge, presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
