Completion of Two-Day Training Programme on HPC, Development & Use of E-Content at GHS Dewal held

Bilawar, July 26: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Basohli successfully concluded a two-day training programme on Holistic Progress Card (HPC) and the Development and Use of E-Content at GHS Dewal, Billawar. This initiative was held under the esteemed supervision of the Principal, Sh. Roshan Lal, and aimed at enhancing the skills of educators and administrative staff in leveraging advanced technologies for educational purposes. The training programme, start on 25.07.2024, provided teachers of zones Bhaddu, Billawar and Malhar with valuable insights and hands-on experience in HPC and e-content development. These tools are crucial for modernizing teaching methods and improving educational delivery through the integration of technology.
Dalip Kumar was the coordinator and Sh. Vishal Anand was the co ordinator of the programme.
The first day was dedicated to understanding Holistic Progress Card (HPC), focusing on the basics of filling the HPC. Participants learned about the Holistic Progress Card (HPC).
On the second day, the focus shifted to the creation and use of e-content. This session covered various aspects of developing interactive and engaging digital content for educational purposes, including multimedia resources, online modules, google form and interactive qquizzes.
Jai Bharat, Rajinder Sharma, Rakesh Kumar, Daljeet Sigh, Shobha Rani, Amol Sharma, Manjeet Kumar were the resource persons.
Participants engaged in practical workshops, applying their learning to real-world scenarios. This hands-on approach helped solidify their understanding and provided them with the skills to create effective educational materials.
Throughout the programme, there were interactive discussions and Q&A sessions that allowed participants to address their queries and share their experiences.
Roshan Lal, Principal of DIET Basohli, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the training.
He emphasized the importance of integrating cutting-edge technology into the educational framework and commended the participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm.
The training was part of DIET Basohli’s ongoing commitment to professional development and the advancement of educational practices. The knowledge gained from this programme is expected to significantly enhance the teaching methodologies and administrative efficiency within the district Kathua JK UT.
