A training session on Stress & Time Management organized at SMVDU

JAMMU, July 28: Directorate of Quality Assurance, SMVDU organized a Training Program entitled, "Stress and Time Management" for all the Officers & Staff Members of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. Resource Person of the training session Ankush Gupta, Assistant Director (Human Resource), Earnest and Young (E&Y), India, emphasized on different sources of stress at the workplaces and advised various remedial processes to overcome excessive stress levels.
Gupta explained with the help of various case studies, illustrations different aspects of stress and consequential disadvantages. He emphasized that the modern stress management practices are essential to be adopted as the job requirements are dynamically changing in the present technology driven workplaces.
The session was very lively participated by the different officers and staff members of the young University. The resource person with the help of various demonstrations highlights the intricacies of internal and external stress and a mechanism has been presented to work on these issues. Earlier the inaugural part of the training program Prof. Supran Kumar Sharma, Director, DQA accentuated the significance of such kinds of training programs which are in the form of on-job trainings. Ajay Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Registrar, SMVDU & Neeraj Gupta, JKAS Finance Officer, SMVDU also attended the session. Prof. Pragati Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University has conveyed warm wishes on this occasion. Directorate of Quality Assurance, SMVDU is regularly focusing to conduct different training program on relevant areas including Noting & Drafting; Administrative Rules; Communication Skills and Personality Development; Upgradation of Computer Skills; Leadership Skills; Purchase Management, Capacity Enhancement Program etc.
It has been well established that to improve the productivity and quality of the present era educational Institute of National & International repute, regular knowledge upgradation is the key, working on the same lines; a complete calendar for the academic year has been prepared by Directorate of Quality Assurance SMVDU.
