JAMMU, July 29: A Frosh Fiesta (fresher's party) was organized for the Distance learners of the B.Ed. programme of Directorate of Distance and Online Education, University of Jammu, under the guidance of Prof Pankaj Kumar Shrivastav Director, DD&OE. The inauguration ceremony initiated with lighting the lamp by the hands of Dr. Jaspal Singh BEd. Coordinator, Distance and Online Education and all the other resource persons. After that, a cake cutting ceremony was also the part of this event. The event was lit with dazzling performances from the students that were enjoyed by the audiences including the guests & teachers. Singing to poetry, Sher-o-Shayari left the entire crowd be nothing less than mesmerized. The Participants names were Maninder Sharma (Song and Bhajan), Deepak Kumar (Shyari) Shashi Kumar (Poem) Sayed Mazar Geelani ( Shayri). A tea party was set for all the students. The event was anchored by Anupama Sharma student of BEd. second semester and the whole programme was organised by the organizing committee of students Anupama Sharma, Saneha Sharma, Vishalli, Sahil, Arvind Kumar, Vivek, Seema, Amandeep, Vishal, Rahul, Bhavana, Palki. At the end of the event the Coordinator of BEd. Dr Jaspal Singh and the senior most member of teaching faculty Prof. C L Shivgotra shared their wisdom words and blessed students for the upcoming second semester exams. Dr Deep Kumar, Dr Rakesh, Dr Tajinder Kour, Dr Shifali Shrama, Dr Upasna, Dr PK Dhar, Dr VK Sharma, Dr Paramjeet Kour, Dr Sunita , Dr Rupa Mahajan, Meghna, Mukta, Remu Bala, Harvind Kour, Sanjeev Kumar, Ankit Bali and staff of DD&OE were also attended the fresher's party. The event was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr Jaspal Singh Warwal. |
