AAI launches IT-enabled toilets in Government Schools under CER initiative | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 31: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has taken a significant step towards promoting hygiene and sustainability in education by inaugurating state-of-the-art, IT-enabled toilets in two government schools. This initiative, part of AAI's Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) program, comes with a project valuation of ?26.99 Lakhs. These modern facilities are designed to provide students with a hygienic and comfortable environment, incorporating the latest technology to enhance usability and maintenance. The inauguration ceremony, held with due ceremony, was attended by distinguished guests including Sanjeev Kumar Garg, Airport Director of Jammu, Jagdeep Kumar Padha, Chief Education Officer of Jammu, and other officials from AAI and the J&K Government. In his address, Airport Director Sh. S. K. Garg emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating, "The installation of IT-enabled toilets in government schools is a significant step towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment for our future generations.
