| Campus cleanliness drive at GDC Kunjwani | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 1: As a part of series of activities to be carried out to commemorate 77 years of Independence, Staff and NSS Volunteers of Govt. Degree College Kunjwani conducted campus cleanliness drive on 01.08.2024 under Shikshit Bharat Viksit Bharat. The whole event was organized under the able guidance and supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Manisha Sarup Kohli, Principal of the College. Nearly 40 students participated in this drive with great zeal and enthusiasm. They cleaned the college campus, playground, parking area and collected plastic garbage from every nook and corner of the college.
The drive was organized to develop an attitude of concern and to provide necessary skills to the college students in handling and promoting waste management at individual levels.
On the occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Manisha Sarup Kohli said that cleanliness is most important for physical well-being and a healthy environment. She briefed the students about the various ways by which students can contribute towards a clean and green environment. She further appreciated the efforts of the students and advised them to continue the drive till visible results are achieved.
In the aftermath of the cleanliness drive, a sense of pride and accomplishment permeated the air. |
