| BMS delegation calls on regional EPFO Commissioner | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 8: Jammu 8th July a deputation of BMS Lead by Harbans Choudhary senior leader of BMS along with Ashok Choudhary organizing Secretary BMS Nand Kishore Gupta and Maqbool Hussain met with Rizwan Uddin regional Provident Fund Commissioner EPFO Jammu Kashmir at his office chamber and submitted representation high lighting the problems being faced by the subscribers, BMS highlighted that in Rattle Power Project and other projects PF is being deducted but the same is not being deposited properly further some contractors who have taken work in projects are also not complying EPF properly similarly in some industries employers are not depositing the deducted PF with EPFO office similarly daily wagers working with Govt. departments are also not being covered whereas earlier the daily wagers were covered under PF scheme and Govt. being model employer exploiting the workers. EPFO Regional PF Commissioner gave patience hearing and on the spot issue instructions to subordinates for taking up the issues with the concerned managements. It was also came in to the notice that JKEPFO portal is defunct from the last more than 6 months just for non payment of AMC and poor subscribers are facing hardships said in après release |
