BISHNAH, Aug 11: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today lambasted NC leader Farooq Abdullah’s allegations of collusion between Indian Army troops and terrorists, calling it as utterly baseless and reflective of his desperation after losing political relevance. Speaking at the programme here today, the senior BJP leader said Farooq Abdullah’s reckless and baseless accusations are nothing but a desperate attempt to regain lost political ground. “His insinuations of collusion between our honorable Indian Army and terrorists are not only unfounded but also a grave insult to the brave men and women who sacrifice their lives to protect our nation.” “It is reprehensible that Farooq Abdullah would stoop to such low levels, making such incendiary statements that can only serve to demoralize our troops and embolden our enemies.
