Jammu, Aug 11: On a reliable source, an information was received at Police Post Narwal that an unknown “Truck” was in over acceleration and high rush and with a remorse and his negligent manner crushed a pedestrian namely Kali Charan S/O Arjun R/O Rajeev Nagar Narwal who was crossing a road at Rajeev Near Chowk, and fled away from the spot. Due to the accident, the pedestrian got miserably hurt and later died on the spot.
On this,a case FIR no. 189/2024 u/s 281/106 BNS got registered and a special team has been constituted under the supervision of *SDPO City East & SHO PS Bahu Fort and after hectic efforts and with the help of cctv footages and human int, the driver (accused) namely Gurdeep Singh S/O Ranjit Singh R/O Chak Labana 7 STB Tehsil: Pillibangan & Distt. Hanumangarh, Rajasthan arrested and vehicle Truck bearing regd no. RJ13GC-8888 seized.
