Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: Eleven students from Pinegrove School participated in the Welham Model United Nations Conference (WELMUN) and KAMERA OBSCURA, held from August 8 to August 10, 2024, at Welham Boys' School, Dehradun. The event brought together delegates from 27 schools across India, as well as one from Oman, to deliberate on pressing international issues and draft resolutions aimed at fostering global cooperation. The theme of the conference, 'Concordia Discordiae,' encouraged participants to seek harmony amidst discord and chaos, reflecting the importance of unity in a diverse world. Pinegrove students actively engaged in these discussions, showcasing their diplomatic skills and global awareness. Notably, Aujas Juneja earned 3rd place in the KAMERA OBSCURA photography competition, highlighting his exceptional talent behind the lens. Additionally, Shraney Aggarwal, representing The Federal Office of Police of Switzerland in the Interpol committee, received a Verbal Mention for her outstanding contributions.
