DAJ condemns RG Kar rape, murder case of PG Student | | | Early times report
Udhampur, Aug 12: DAJ increasing violence in hospitals day by day is the result of this condemns rape and murder case of PG Student at R.G.Kar hospital Kolkota recently . Dr Balvinder singh president of association in a statement said that it is a shocking incident and irreparable loss of the future doctor for the Family, profession , society and Nation as whole . Doctors have become the most vulnerable and soft targets for the agitated and frustrated society. Every week some news of violence and atrocities against doctors in one part or other of the country. It is matter of the safety ,security and dignity of Doctors and health professionals especially our female colleagues. Our association DAJ will fight tooth & nail for the safety and security of our doctors, especially junior doctors who are more vulnerable to such brutality. Dr Manjeet vice president said that there are incidents of violence in hospitals are increasing day by day .Only thing we receive is condemnation of such incidents of violence against doctors Dr Amit secretary said that it is a need of hour to protest very hard against hospital violence. Service doctors, resident doctors and private practitioners should withdraw OPD service for at least one day against hospital violence. He called upon all residents, service doctors and private practitioners need to come together and make a strict protocol against violence. Whether the government makes strict laws against hospital violence or not, but first we all have to come together and make a protocol against hospital violence. Dr Mukhtyar secretary said that there must be continued robust efforts by our associations across the nation to push the govt whether state or central, to bring appropriate law and ensure safety and security of the health care professionals. Dr Balvinder singh said that DAJ demand from the government to take strict action against culprits in this case and urge govt & administration to ensure strict safety and security of the female doctors and all healthcare professionals all across the country. |
