| N.I.L.M celebrated 78th Independence Day | | |

Jammu, Aug 16: Independence Day was celebrated at National Incredible Literacy Mission, Head Office Roop Nagar Jammu with great enthusiasm & fervour. The NILM NGO office was adorned with tricolour balloons and flags. The special assembly of the NGO Governing body created an ambience of patriotism.
The programme begins with sarswati bandhana. Kavita Bali Secretary NILM unfurls the National flag, as the National Anthem was played. Similarly Independence day was celebrated at Zonal Office of NILM at Bantalab here Rakeshwar Singh Kurhan Project Director hoisted the national flag.During the function Rakeshwar Singh, Project Director highlighted the achievements of NILM in pervious years.
He added that NGO is doing all efforts to uplift the weaker section of the society. He informed the geathering that this year NILM NGO is going to teach free computer course to 500 students from different Government School. Meanwhile the whole office premises echoed with slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai Hind” as members pledged to serve the nation and contribute in its progress. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem .Students presented colorful performances during the occasion. |
