CUJ welcomes B. Tech Computer Science and Engineering students batch -2024

JAMMU, Aug 23: Central University of Jammu started the B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) and B.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering-Cyber Security) Batch- 2024 with a two day Induction cum Orientation Programme conducted today.
Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Chief Guest of the occasion welcomed and blessed the students for their academic journey during next four years in the University. Prof. Dinesh Kumar, HoD (CSE & CSIT) formally welcomed all the students and delivered a comprehensive introduction of the department, curriculum and resources available to support their studies. Prof. Yashwant Singh, Registrar, Central University of Jammu, during his address highlighted that the induction programme will provide a seamless transition into University life, offering valuable insights and opportunities for engagement and introduction to the Central University academic community. He also highlighted various schemes, facilities, infrastructure and other policies of the University. The Training and Placement Officer Viraj also interacted with the students and apprised them of the various training and placement opportunities at CUJ. Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Harpreet Singh, highlighted the various medical facilities and medical camps that are conducted time to time for students and staff of the University.
The induction programme featured interactive sessions among the faculty members and students. The cultural programme was presented by the senior B.Tech, CSE students. The new students were given a tour of the state-of-the-art IT labs along with other facilities and departments of the University during the campus orientation tour. All faculty members of the CSE & CSIT department were present during the Induction programme. Dr.Bhavna Arora, Associate Professor, Dr. Jasvinder Pal Singh and Dr. Palak Mahajan, Assistant Professors conducted the event with grace.
