Indian Army enalbing women empowerment, enganging Veer Naris, widows at border villages | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 24: As part of Army Wives Welfare Association week commemoration being conducted all across the Nation, Indian Army units deployed in remote border villages of Khour, Budhwal, Gigriyal, Pangali and Channi Deewano carried out an outreach to Veer Naris and Widows of Indian Army settled in the zones. President Family Welfare Organisation, 10 RAPID (H), President Family Welfare Organisation, Manawar Yodha Brigade and other ladies interacted with and felicitated the Veer Naris and widows. Enquired about their wellbeing and checked for any kind of grievances. Whilst the event a medical camp providing basic Medicare, dental checkup and elementary medicines was also organized. The dignitaries also visited the School Uniform Stitching MSME at Vocational Training Centre, Budhwal and reviewed the commendable work being done by the ladies. These entrepreneurs have taken giant strides towards self-reliance.
