| Krishan Janmashtmi celebrated at Rich Harvest | | |

JAMMU, Aug 24: RHS Celebrated the pious festival of Janmashtmi in the presence of girls and staff from Ida Kanya ved vidhalya with reverence and devotion. The Head of the Institute Anita Bhatia welcomed the special guests and ensured them a pleasant day full of fun and joy. In a special assembly the divinity of Lord Krishna was venerated through mesmerizing shlokas, bhajans and glimpses from Lord Krishna's divine play.
Tiny tots dressed up in traditional Radha Krishna attire enthralled the audience.
The star attraction was the Dahi handi phodo enactment. Senior Students formed a pyramid while Makhanchor climbed to the top on his friends' shoulders to "phodo matki" and capture the ultimate prize. This event signifies unity and brotherhood.
The Director of the School Mrs Ruchi Charak presented the ashramites with gifts as part of the Sharing is Caring initiative of the School. |
