Srinagar, Aug 27: In a significant development, BJP candidates from Anantnag, Pulwama, and Shopian filed their nominations for the J&K Assembly elections today, accompanied by BJP National Executive Member and senior leader Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi. The candidates included Mohammad Rafiq Wani for Anantnag West, Advocate Syed Wajahat for Anantnag, Javed Ahmad Qadiri for Shopian, and Arshid Bhat for Rajpora in Pulwama. The nominations were filed amidst large processions, with enthusiastic participation from local residents. Speaking to the media, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi highlighted that the BJP manifesto, set to be released soon, will serve as a comprehensive vision document for the people. “Our manifesto will be a people’s vision document, and we are committed to implementing this agenda in letter and spirit,” she stated. Dr. Andrabi emphasized the trust and service record of the candidates in their respective areas. She noted that the BJP has ushered in a new political order in J&K, moving away from emotional exploitation by politicians. “People now aspire for a peaceful and progressive life, and the BJP has a clear roadmap for their progress and development. Over the past five years, we have achieved unprecedented transformation in J&K under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi,” she added. |
