Jodhamal Youth Conclave 2024 concludes with a glittering valedictory function

JAMMU, Aug 28: Jodhamal Youth Conclave 2024 - the 3-day intellectual extravaganza concluded with a glittering Valedictory Function. JYC'24, as it is popularly referred to in the School circuits, witnessed a gathering of about 300+ teen-aged like-minded student-leaders with global perspectives and an immense knowledge of geo-politics to discuss, deliberate and debate on the national and international issues.
The chief guest in the Valedictory Function was Prof Alka Sharma, Dean of Faculty of Business Studies and Director, Skill Incubation Innovation, and Entrepreneurship Development Centre, University of Jammu.
This year, in the 7th Edition of JYC, many prominent Schools from Jammu and outside had participated. There were student-delegations from: K C Public School, KC International School, GD Goenka Public School, Jammu Sanskriti School, JK Public School, Presentation Convent School, Delhi Public School, Udhampur, and the host school, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu.
The Theme of this year's JYC was: "Excessus Virtutis Vitium Est" which translates in: Excess of Virtue is a Vice.
There were six Committees with their topical agenda. Each Committee saw vigorous debating and rounds of diplomacy. Their respective Agenda were dissected and discussed to the hilt. The day's rigorous intellectual fatigue was relieved by the organization of socials for the students.

The Conclave came to a closure by declaration of JYC'24 as closed by the Secretary General of JYC'24, Aviral Kapoor.
