Jammu, Aug 29: In a heartwarming gesture aimed at bolstering education infrastructure and fostering integration, the Indian Army (Northern Command) has extended a generous donation to Govt High School, Rown, in the Udhampur district of Jammu & Kashmir. As part of Operation Sadbhavana project, the Army contributed furniture & Information technology equipment to the school. During the presentation ceremony, Ashima Dhillon, Chairperson of Family Welfare Organization (FWO), 71 Sub Area, handed over the furniture & IT equipment to the school Headmaster, staff and students. The event garnered significant attention, with the presence of the Sarpanch of the village and a beautiful cultural program by the students. The Indian Armed Forces, renowned for their commitment to national security, have also been steadfast in their dedication to uplift underdeveloped regions particularly in Jammu & Kashmir. This noble endeavor reflects their unwavering resolve to empower communities through education, thereby fostering a brighter future for the region.
