JAMMU, Sept 5: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha today celebrated the Kamal Mehndi Utsav, a joyous occasion to showcase the party's commitment to women's empowerment and its connection with the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The event, attended by BJP leader, District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan, and other prominent party members, saw the Mahila Morcha team apply mehndi designs featuring the BJP's lotus symbol, signifying the party's growth and prosperity here at Jammu South RS Pura.
Rekha Mahajan highlighted the significance of the event, stating, "The Kamal Mehndi Utsav is a celebration of our party's dedication to women's empowerment and our connection with the people of J&K. We are committed to ensuring that women play a vital role in the region's development and prosperity."
The event featured mehndi application, cultural performances, and a rally, showcasing the BJP Mahila Morcha's enthusiasm and dedication to the party's cause.
Rekha Mahajan stated that Kamal Mehndi Utsav is a testament to our party's commitment to women's empowerment and our connection with the people of J&K," Mahajan said. "We will continue to work tirelessly for the development and prosperity of J&K, ensuring that women play a vital role in shaping the region's future.
Rekha Mahajan highlighted the BJP's achievements in J&K, including enhanced infrastructure development, including roads, bridges, and public buildings, and improved healthcare facilities and services, including new hospitals and medical colleges.
