Cambridge School hosts Investiture Ceremony

JAMMU, Sept 6: Cambridge International School, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, Jammu proudly hosted its prestigious Investiture Ceremony, a significant event marking the formal transfer of leadership responsibilities to the newly elected student council. The occasion was celebrated with elegance and set a tone of leadership, responsibility, and aspiration for the new academic year.
The event began with a warm Welcome Address, where the Chief Guest Er. Vidhi S. Singh (Chairman of CIS, Jammu), Guest of Honour Mr. Shivdev Singh Jamwal (Vice-Chairman, CIS Jammu), Er. Renu Bangroo (Managing Director, CIS Jammu), staff members and students were graciously greeted. Following this, the distinguished guests were honored with a Floral Felicitation, recognizing their presence and contributions to the ceremony.
A symbolic Lighting of the Lamp took place, representing the light of knowledge, accompanied by the soulful Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings and bringing a spiritual essence to the event.
The highlight of the day was the grand entry of the School Council, where the newly elected members, adorned in ceremonial attire, marched confidently to the stage. The Principal, Ms Pooja Salathia, then led the Oath during the Inducting Ceremony, encouraging the student leaders to uphold the values and principles of the school with integrity and purpose.
The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered stirring speeches, expressing their gratitude for the trust placed in them and sharing their vision for fostering a positive and thriving school community.
Adding a celebratory note to the occasion, the audience was treated to a captivating music performance by talented students, further enhancing the joy of the event.
The ceremony's keynote moment came with an inspiring address by the Chief Guest Er. Vidhi S. Singh and the Guest of Honour Er. Renu Bangroo, whose motivational words encouraged the student council to embrace their new roles with dedication and enthusiasm.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Vice-Principal Ms. Rajni Malhotra who extended appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony, ensuring its smooth and graceful execution.
The Investiture Ceremony at Cambridge International School was a celebration of leadership, underscoring the school's commitment to nurturing future leaders who will guide with compassion, integrity, and excellence.
