Jammu, Sept 9: The Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research recently spearheaded a plantation drive across multiple institutions within the Trikuta Group of Colleges, including Trikuta Degree College, Trikuta College of Education, Jammu College of Physiotherapy, Trikuta College of Physical Education, and Sain Charitable Institute of Paramedical Sciences. The event saw enthusiastic participation from both staff and students, under the guidance of the institute’s esteemed management and Dr. Nitin Mahajan, Principal of Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research. The initiative was supported by the Forest Department of Jammu and Kashmir, which provided a variety of plants, including Arjuna, Amla, Haritaki, Vibhitak, and Moringa. Organized by the Department of Dravyaguna, the plantation drive aimed to promote environmental stewardship by creating and maintaining green spaces across the institutions. The effort reinforced the importance of preserving nature and protecting the environment through collective action. |
