JAMMU, Sept 10: An Oral Health Awareness and Dental Checkup Camp was successfully organized today by the Department of Public Health Dentistry from Indira Gandhi Government Dental College, Jammu, at S.D. Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. The initiative, aimed at promoting better oral health practices among students, was led by Dr. Iqbal Singh and his dedicated team of doctors.
Approximately 400 students participated in the camp, where they received thorough dental checkups along with guidance on maintaining good oral hygiene. The students were also educated on the importance of regular dental checkups and proper brushing techniques to prevent oral health issues.
