Group Captain Kunwar Viyogy’s Dogri poetry book released | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 15: “Bhagat Job” a Dogri Book penned by an eminent Dogri Writer and Poet “Kunwar Viyogi” was released by Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS). Former Deputy Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Kavinder Gupta was Chief Guest on the occasion where as book release function was Presided over by Padamshri Mohan Singh a Sahitya Academy Awardee. Prof. Nirmal Kamal former Chairperson, Social Welfare Board and HOD Economics University Of Jammu was “Guest of Honour”. Col. Kulbir Singh Jamwal Editor-in-Chief Army “Patrika” and the Younger Brother of Kunwar Viyogi was Special Guest on the occasion. Prof. Anupama Sharma Patron NDS and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila President NDS also shared the dias. Yash Pal Yash General Secretary NDS compered the programme. At the out set Guests were Honoured with flower Bouquets followed by Book Release in a simple but an impressive ceremony. Prof. Nirmal Kamal read a detailed paper on the book and described the publication as unique and valuable. Capt. Lalit Sharma IFS Convenor NDS spoke on the life and works of Kunwar Viyogi. Lauding the release of his 38th book, he described him a great intellectual of Jammu who is least understood against his contributions. Kunwar Viyogi as his literary name is actually Group Captain Randhir Singh Jamwal who was a multi-dimensional personality he elaborated. Kavinder Gupta lauded Kunwar Viyogi for enriching Dogri Language with his versatile writings. He described him as one of the Tourch Bearer of the society who always spread positivity. Mohan Singh said that he was basically a romantic poet who spread the message of love. He is the poet with unique style of writting and introduced “Sonnet” in Dogri literature he observed . He complimented his wife Sudha Chaturvedi for getting the book compiled and published for the benefit of Duggar Samaj. |
