Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Sept 18: The Electoral Literacy Club of Government Degree College (GDC), Sunderbani, in collaboration with the District SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) team Rajouri, organized a comprehensive workshop aimed at raising awareness among eligible voters. The event emphasized the importance of casting votes with integrity, upholding the democratic tradition of the country, and remaining uninfluenced by factors like religion, race, caste, community, or any form of inducement. The workshop commenced with a pledge-taking ceremony where participants reaffirmed their faith in democracy. It concluded with a rally to reinforce the message of free and fair voting. The event was conducted under the expert guidance of Dr. Ashu Vashisht, Principal of GDC Sunderbani, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, alongside faculty members of the college. The workshop featured insights from key speakers, including Nodal Officer SVEEP, Sh. Babu Singh, Dr. Dustyant Pardeep, and Mr. Muddasir Mughal, who shared their valuable experiences on the significance of voter participation in strengthening democracy.
