Jammu, Sept 19:- The Central Govt Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Jammu CGPWA) has mourned the sad and sudden death of the President of Kashmir’s Central Govt Pensioners’ Association, Mohd Shafi Pandit after a brief illness. The President of CGPWA Jammu, Kuldeep Khoda & General Secretary K B Jandial have conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and recalled his huge contributions made by Pandit for J&K first as an outstanding bureaucrat and after retirement, a passionate crusader for social causes as an active member of several NGOs and welfare of pensioners. In a condolence resolution, the CGPWA recalled his laudable services and said that he has left behind his legacy of selfless services, integrity, humility and commitment to people for others to emulate. Several former senior civil servants of All India Services and other Central Govt Services paid rich tributes.
