Inter Zonal District Level U-19 Boxing Championship concludes at MA Stadium Jammu

JAMMU, Sept 19: The Inter Zonal District Level Competition of Boxing for U-19 boys and girls concluded today at the MA Stadium in Jammu. The event was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) of District Jammu, under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT, Rajinder Singh Tara (JKAS), and guided by Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Ved Parkash (JKAS). The competition was held under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma, and I/C DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour.
The tournament provided a significant platform for young athletes to showcase their talent. Around 30 participants from various zones of District Jammu competed in the event, which aimed to select the best talent for upcoming competitions.
The matches were officiated by experts from the department, including Sunil Abrol, Vishal Singh, Jatinder Kumar, William Kumar, Nitin Sharma, and Rohit Sadhotra. I/C DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour, praised the participants for their dedication and team spirit. She also distributed medals and certificates to the winners and runners-up.
