Agencies NEW DELHI, Sept 19: The National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF), led by its National President BP Singh Rawat, convened a meeting of its national working committee today at Rajendra Bhawan, New Delhi. The gathering focused on key issues related to the National Pension Scheme (NPS), Unified Pension Scheme (UPS), and Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Prominent among the attendees was Shiv Gopal Mishra, General Secretary of the All India Railways Federation, who actively participated in the discussions. The committee underscored the urgent need to strengthen the agitation at the national level by engaging more government employees at the grassroots level. This move, they believe, will help safeguard the interests of government employees who are pushing for the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme. The meeting concluded with the unified slogan "One Nation, One Pension"-a call for the old pension system to be reinstated for all government employees across the country. State representatives, including Raghunandan, Rajesh Sharma, Dr. Alok Yadav, Sajjan Singh, Santosh, S. Gurmukh Singh, Vikram Singh Rawat, and I D Songma, presented updates on the ongoing efforts in their respective states towards the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme.
