NILM NGO hosts school-level painting competition in MIE school | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 20: The National Incredible Literacy Mission held school-level painting competition at the Major Institute of Education in Paloura Dhok, Jammu. This initiative aimed to promote literacy and creativity among students, encouraging them to articulate their thoughts and ideas through the medium of art. The competition attracted enthusiastic participation from students of said school, who showcased their artistic talents and unique perspectives on themes related to literacy and education. The event not only provided a platform for creative expression but also fostered a spirit of healthy rivalry among participants, reinforcing the importance of environment conservation. "Art is a powerful tool for communication and self-expression," said R S Thakur Project Director of the National Incredible Literacy Mission. "Through this competition, we aim to inspire students to embrace their creativity while raising awareness about healthy environment ." The school staff members who actively participated in the event included Abhishek Singh Chairman of the school, Jyoti Devi Principal of said school along with Neeru Dogra and Shivani Manhas. At the end of the event certificates were distributed among the participants. |
