| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 6 bovines rescued | | |

Udhampur Sept 23: Police team of Police Station Chenani have foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 06 bovines were rescued from a vehicle bearing registration number No. JK14J 1746 from Anthal Chowk naka point.
The driver of the vehicle namely Abdul Rashid S/O Ibrahim R/O Sangote has been arrested on spot. All the 06 bovines were rescued and vehicle seized. In this regard, a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Chenani.
Further investigation of the case is in progress. |
