| Police seizes 6 vehicles for Illegal Mining | | | Samba, Sept 24: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Police has seized six vehicles across the district Samba which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material. Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Ramgarh, SHO Police Station Ghagwal, SHO Police Station Vijaypur, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli and Incharge Police Post Supwal falling under Police Station Samba while performing patrolling duty in their respective jurisdictional areas, have seized six vehicles including a dumber without registration No., two tractor trolleys bearing registration No. JK21E-9176 & JK21K-3155 and three tractor trolleys without registration Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action. |
