Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 26: While addressing a joint press conference S. Sudershan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United Front J&K along with various Sikh organizations Jammu and Kashmir namely Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Bhai Kanhiaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K, Sikh Naujawan Sabha Simbal Camp Jammu, Youth Akali Dal J&K, Istri Akali Dal J&K said that the NDA government led by BJP has failed on all fronts especially with regard to the issues of Sikh community are concerned. The harsh treatment meted out to farmers who remained on the roads near Shambu border and other places while agitating for the rights of the farmers in which about 800 farmers sacrificed their life towards the uncanny attitude of the NDA government led by BJP and its leaders, speaks volume about the anti farmer agenda of BJP.
Wazir further said that India is going through its worst time as the country is facing the employment crisis, economic upheaval and the common man is facing hardships every day. Not only this number of farmers who committed suicide during NDA regime is the highest ever.
Wazir further called upon all the progressive people to vote against the NDA and ensure the victory of NC- Congress alliance in J&K.
While commenting on the international front Mr Wazir said that BJP is tom tomming about it's leaders close proximity to the world leaders but they have shut their eyes with regard to happening in Indian surroundings where all the South Asian countries like Nepal, Maldives, China, Srilanka, Myanmar, Pakistan and especially Bangladesh which was liberated by Indian army in 1971. To much of a surprise the Indian establishment has failed to engage with these neighboring countries and maintain cordial relations with them. It is shocking that a country like Bangladesh has let loose a reign of terror on the minorities especially Hindus who everyday lineup on the Indo Bangladesh borders to crossover to India but chest thumping BJP which claims to be champions of Hindus is ignoring their plight and poor Hindus are dying every day in Bangladesh because of the uncaring attitude of BJP government.
S. Darbinder Singh President Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, while addressing the media said that even in Jammu the people are fed up of the government attitude as they are facing economic, employment, and institutional problems. Everyone in Jammu wants the Darbar move to be restored and further open up employment opportunities because whatever little employment
