Early Times Report REASI, Sept 26: As part of an ongoing initiative, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) Reasi organized a comprehensive cleanliness drive across District Reasi under the "Seva Se Seekhen" initiative. Held from September 17th to October 2nd, the drive focused on cleaning heritage water bodies as part of the Swachh Bharat, Naya Sankalp program. The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation, cleanliness, and public awareness about the importance of preserving water bodies in the region. Various school students and volunteers actively participated, making it a community-led effort toward a cleaner and greener environment. Tarsem Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Reasi, emphasized the significance of the initiative, stating, "This drive is not only about cleaning but also about educating our youth and community on the vital role of natural water sites for future generations. The enthusiastic participation of students and volunteers highlights the growing commitment to environmental sustainability in Reasi."
