| GDC RS Pura, concluded 7-day Summer Internship | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, Sept 28: The Department of Geography Government Degree College RS Pura successfully concluded a 7-day Summer Internship for 5th-semester students under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, worthy Principal of the college at Sub District Hospital, RS Pura. The internship course focused on the assessment of diseases and associated geographical factors and provided students with invaluable hands-on experience and insights into the healthcare system. During the program, students visited several Primary Health Centers and various departments within the hospital to gain a deeper understanding of healthcare challenges in the region.
Dr. Monica Kotwal Block Medical Officer, provided unwavering support in organizing the internship program. Dr. Ekta Sudan Medical Officer at Sub District Hospital R. S Pura, played a pivotal role in successfully conducting the course. The Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of HOD Geography Prof. Geetika Goswami for this initiative as it emphasizes holistic and interdisciplinary learning, aligning with the core principles of NEP 2020. |
