Chinar Primary School Organizes Investiture Ceremony

Nagrota, Sept 28: Chinar Primary School, the primary wing of Sainik School Nagrota, organized its Investiture Ceremony today at the school auditorium. Dr. (Mrs.) Namita Singh, Zonal Vice President of AWWA, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and conferred badges and sashes to the newly appointed members of the Student Council.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and parents by Mrs. Renu Devi, Teacher In-Charge, who highlighted the recent developments and value additions at CPS under the leadership of the new Chairman, Captain (IN) Shibu Devasia. The event featured an exciting cultural program performed by the students.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of sashes and badges to the Head Boy, Master Avish Raina, the Head Girl, Miss Bhavika Suri, by the Chief Guest. The other members of the council include Deputy Head Boy Master Atharva Dhasmana, Deputy Head Girl Miss Harshita Kar and House Captains and Vice Captains for Gandhi, Nehru and Tagore Houses. Following this, Captain (IN) Shibu Devasia administered the oath to the newly appointed Student Council, marking the official commencement of their leadership roles.
The Chief Guest along with the Chairman released ‘Blossoms’ –the journal of Chinar Primary School for the Academic Session 2023-24. In her address, Dr. Namita Singh commended the teachers and school administration for their exceptional efforts in shaping young minds into disciplined and responsible individuals. She stressed the importance of inclusive education, urging the community to care for all children equally, ensuring a nurturing environment for every student.
The event concluded with applause and appreciation for the new Student Council, who are now entrusted with upholding the values of CPS and setting an example for their peers.
