| Rich Harvest celebrates Gandhi Jayanti | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 2: RHS Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti cum Swachhata Diwas with Enthusiasm and gaiety.
In a special assembly rich tributes were paid to the Mahatma via poetry recitation and speeches. The students participated in numerous activities reaffirming the School's commitment to cleanliness, community service and the values espoused by Mahatma Gandhi. The staff and students took a pledge to keep their localities clean and healthy. To mark the occasion, RHS Cadets descended upon the Sarore Nehar park to clean it by collecting trash and beautifying it for the benefit of local inhabitants.
The Head of the Institute Ms Anita Bhatia urged students to imbibe the father of the Nation's teachings of peace and non violence for the progress and growth of our great Nation. |
