| Absconder wanted in ndps Act arrested by police | | |

Kathua, Oct 9 J&K Police Kathua has successfully arrested an absconder named Sanjay Kumar S/o Uttam Chand R/o Chack Murar Tehsil Bishnah Jammu who was wanted in a case FIR No. 140/2019 U/S 8/21/22/NDPS Act at PS Rajbagh. The defendant was absconding since 17/12/2021 and was evading arrest.
A warrant under the relevant sections has been issued against the accused by the Honorable Court of law. The authorities have been searching for the defendant since the issuance of the warrant. Kathua Police received information about the accused’s whereabouts and immediately dispatched a team to apprehend him.On 08/10/2024 the police team led by SHO PS Rajbagh under the guidance of SDPO Border located and arrested Sanjay Kumar S/o Uttam Chand R/o Chack Murar Tehsil Bishnah Jammu and produced him in the Honble court of Addl. Session Judge Kathua while further investigation is underway. |
