NILM NGO organized drug abuse awareness program | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: The National Incredible Literacy Mission J&K conducted an Drug abuse awareness programme in collaboration of Directorate of School Education Jammu, involving school students of Crescent Public School Bhalwal. Here to create awareness on drug and substance abuse and its negative fallout on the individual. The program was conducted in the school premises. According to Chairman NILM Thakur K.D. Kurhan, the aim of the programme is to empower students to say no to drugs and create awareness of substance abuse by helping them channel their energies into creative pursuits. NILM staff members who deliver lecture during program included R S Thakur, Sheetal Devi, Tania Dogra and Arti Sahu. DR. Bhawna Kaushal Principal of the Crescent Public School school along with other staff including Headmistress Sheetal Mary, Coordinators including Anjali Basin, Sonika Khanna, Priya Jamwal and teachers including Priyanka, Neelima, Anu Wazir remain present. During the event Headmistress Sheetal Mary gave a impressive lecture on the Drug abuse. She also appreciated the role of NILM NGO for synthesizing awareness among masses. |
