| GDC Billawar Shines at Basohli Festival 2024 | | | Early Times Report
BILLAWAR, Oct 14: Students of Government Degree College (GDC) Billawar brought pride to their institution by securing top positions in the Inter-College Competitions held during the Basohli Festival from October 10th to 12th, 2024. The competitions, part of the three-day grand festival, featured participants from GDC Billawar, GDC Mahanpur, and GDC Basohli in four categories: Essay Writing, Shloka Recitation, Storytelling, and Painting. In Shloka Recitation, Diksha Sharma (5th Semester) and Hridhaydeep took home the first and second prizes, respectively. The Essay Writing competition saw Monika Malgotra (3rd Semester) win first place, with Zahid Malik (5th Semester) securing third. Nisha Devi (5th Semester) earned third place in Storytelling, while Diksha Thakur (5th Semester) achieved second prize in the Painting category. The winners were honored at the prize distribution ceremony on October 12th, 2024. Faculty members Dr. Rajesh Sharma, Akshey Sharma, and Dr. Manu Sharma served as jury members during the event. |
