JAMMU, Oct 15: State Level Coordinating Agency Jammu & Kashmir under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan organized one-day workshop for students of Govt. Degree College, Bishnah on "Drug Abuse Prevention" in collaboration with NISD, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India. Around 105 students and staff members participated in the workshop. Dr. Shallu Samyal, Principal, GDC Bishnah, Dr. Koushal Kiran, Coordinator, Youth Red Cross Society and other staff members were present on the occasion.
Program initiated with the introduction of State Level Coordinating Agency and Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Campaign by Kimi Padhiar. Dr. Rachna Devi, Asst. Professor from Dept. of Psychology, PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar generated awareness regarding drug abuse prevention in detail with the help of PowerPoint presentation. Workshop include lectures, interaction sessions, quiz etc.
