The party's vote share also rose by 2.66 percent, from 22.98 percent in 2014 to 25.64 percent in 2024, surpassing the National Conference's 23.43 percent vote share. The BJP's ability to mobilize a larger voter base, growing from 3.55 lakh votes to a total of 14.62 lakh votes, underscores its expanding appeal and strengthened foothold in the state. He strongly condemned the Congress party's tendency to blame Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and the Election Commission after every election result. Chandan dismissed these claims as baseless and unrealistic, pointing out that it's become a habit for the Congress party to cry foul whenever they lose elections.
