JAMMU, Oct 15: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, IPS, today facilitated Inspr. Amit Sangra (EXJ-005663, the then SHO P/S Hira Nagar) and Inspr. Sushil Sharma (EXJ-007128, the then SHO P/S Billawar) with a Commendation Certificate Class-I along with cash reward for their exemplary performance as investigators. The award was presented in a simple ceremony held at Zonal Police Headquarters (ZPHQ) Jammu today.
Inspr. Amit Sangra has been recognized for his outstanding work in securing convictions in case FIR no. 17/2017 U/S 302 RPC P/S Hira Nagar in which Hon'ble Court has convicted the accused to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000/- on 05-12-2022.
Inspr. Sushil Sharma has been recognized for his exceptional investigative efforts, resulting in key conviction in case FIR no. 101/2016 U/S 302 RPC P/S Billawar in which Hon'ble Court has convicted the accused to life imprisonment on 16-03-2023.
Anand Jain, IPS lauded both the officers for the relentless efforts in combating heinous crimes and securing convictions, effectively. |
