Investiture ceremony at DPS Kathua highlights leadership and dedication

KATHUA, Oct 19: Delhi Public School (DPS) Kathua held a grand Investiture Ceremony, a key annual event that marked the formal appointment of the newly elected student council. Held at both the Main Campus in Rajbagh and the Feeder School in Kathua, the ceremony was a joyous celebration of leadership, responsibility, and the school's commitment to nurturing future leaders.
The chief guest for the occasion, Kanta Andotra, Former MLA and Founder Chairperson of DPS Kathua, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the transformative power of leadership in students' personal and academic growth. Smt. Andotra encouraged the newly elected leaders to serve with dedication, humility, and a sense of responsibility, reminding them that their roles were not just honorary but carried significant weight in shaping the school's future.
Charu Andotra, Principal of Mount Zee Litera and the Guest of Honour, commended the discipline and determination of the students. Her words of encouragement resonated deeply with both students and parents, as she highlighted the importance of leadership in cultivating a culture of mutual respect and academic excellence. The ceremony was a proud moment for parents, who watched as their children took center stage to receive their badges and sashes. Principal Vivek Arora delivered a heartfelt congratulatory speech to the newly appointed council members, urging them to lead with empathy, fairness, and integrity. The presence of other senior staff members, including Jagmohan, Amandeep Sharma, Narshotam Mahi, Rahul, Monika Patyal, Gurpreet Kaur, Ruchi Sharma, Jyoti, and Pankaj Kumar, added to the ceremony's significance, reflecting the school's collective effort in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
