Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 22: The Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) at Chanakya Chowk, Jammu, condemned the recent terror attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, describing it as an "inhumane and despicable act" of targeted violence. The leaders asserted that such acts will not deter India from pursuing key infrastructure projects in the region. During a joint meeting attended by DBPS members and representatives of various social organizations, President Ved Parkash Sharma and other leaders expressed their outrage over the attack, which resulted in the deaths of several construction workers and a doctor. They extended heartfelt condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery. "The killing of innocent civilians, including migrant laborers, is a cowardly and unforgivable crime," they stated. Senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Sharma echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that terrorism will not disrupt the ongoing construction efforts or undermine the trust of the people in Jammu and Kashmir. He condemned the attack as a crime against humanity, affirming that the entire nation stands united in the fight against terrorism. |
