SRINAGAR, Oct 28: In observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, J&K Police held pledge taking ceremonies at all police establishments across Jammu and Kashmir.
The main event took place at Police Headquarters in Srinagar, where ADGP (Headquarters/Coordination) Shri M.K. Sinha administered the integrity pledge to PHQ staff. The ceremony was attended by IG (POS) PHQ Shri B.S. Tuti, DIG (Personnel) PHQ Shri Mubassir Latifi, along with other officers.
During the pledge, all officers and jawans committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and good governance, vowing to eradicate corruption and oppose all forms of malfeasance. They pledged neither to offer nor accept bribes and to foster a culture of honesty and integrity.
Similar ceremonies were conducted in all districts, unit, and wing headquarters of the J&K Police, where local police heads administered the oath to their respective personnel. |
