| Vigilance Awareness Week inaugurated at Jammu Airport | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 28: Jammu Airport launched Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, emphasizing integrity and transparency in public service. This year's theme, "Culture of Integrity for Nation's Prosperity," aims to inspire staff and stakeholders to uphold ethical values and combat corruption.
The event began with an Integrity Pledge led by Officiating Airport Director Shri S.K. Kapahi, with enthusiastic participation from Airports Authority of India (AAI) employees and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel. Shri Kapahi underscored the significance of Vigilance Awareness Week in fostering transparency and accountability in operations. A series of activities, including seminars, workshops, and interactive sessions, will take place throughout the week to promote vigilance and ethical conduct.
As part of the initiative, the AAI Integrity Club hosted a debate competition at Government Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, where students passionately discussed corruption issues. Outstanding participants were awarded prizes, and Principal Anu Bhardwaj praised AAI's efforts. The event was coordinated by Monika Jamwal from the school and Subash Chander, Assistant Manager (HR) at AAI Jammu, with an insightful lecture on vigilance delivered by Jasdeep Singh Dhaliwal, Assistant Manager (Commercial). |
